In Network view panel, after adding new device, you can click the icon on the device image, and then the LOGO! TDE settings dialog shows.

LOGO! 9 TDE

In the LOGO! TDE settings dialog, you can configure LOGO! 9 TDE for the following offline settings:

• General

  In this tab, you can set the name and IP for your device.

• LCD Message

  In this tab, you can select the message page displaying on LOGO! TDE. There are three options for General settings and you can select the option by clicking the radio button:

  • Message Page 1: select to display message page 1 on the connected TDE.

  • Message Page 2: select to display message page 2 on the connected TDE.

  • Follow BM's Setting: select this option to follow the message page display settings of the BM. To learn the detailed information of BM message display settings, refer to File -> Message text Settings (LOGO! 9 and later versions).

  You can also set the filter time. The filter time determines the frequency at which the LOGO! TDE refreshes the analog values in the message page. The setting value ranges from 100 ms to 1000 ms.

• BM List

  You can add 6 BMs in the list at most. You can change the BM list through the menu Add BM on the TDE device.

• LCD setting

  In this tab, you can set the LCD display brightness and configure the screen saver for the TDE device. These settings are also available through the menu Setup -> LCD on the TDE device.

  Note LCD lifetime High brightness and continuous displaying lead to a shorter lifetime for the LCD. To protect the LCD, it is recommended that you set a low display brightness and enable the screen saver.

• TDE power-on screen

  In this tab, you can set a power-on screen for LOGO! 9 TDE. LOGO! 9 TDE supports background image or color setting, and text setting for the power-on screen.

• Certificate Settings

  Here you can configure the certificate strategy for the TDE communication with LOGO!Soft Comfort. If you choose the PSK certificate or external certificate, you need to use the PSK password to generate the PSK certificate, or import the external certificate.

• Trust CA Settings

  Here you can manage the trusted CA certificates.

• Access Control Settings

  In this tab, you can enable or disable the UMAC access for TDE.

• Template

To make all the configuration in offline settings take effect, you need to download the configuration to the TDE. While in online settings, changes and configuration take effect immediately.

LOGO! TDE 6ED1055-4MH08-0BA0

In the LOGO! TDE settings dialog, you can configure LOGO! TDE 6ED1055-4MH08-0BA0 for the following offline settings:

• General

  In this tab, you can set the name and IP for your device. You can set the Device name to the LOGO! TDE, and then input the IP address, subnet mask and Default gateway to assign an IP to the LOGO! TDE.

• Host IP

  In this tab, you can enter the Host IP address or select the IP address from address book by clicking the Address book button.

• Message text

  In this tab, you can configure message text settings in LOGO! TDE. There are three options for General settings and you can click the radio button to select the option:

  • Character Set 1: This specifies the primary character set for message texts. Message texts are composed of characters from either Character Set 1 or Character Set 2. Either character set can be the default for configuring message texts.

  • Character Set 2: This specifies the secondary character set for message texts. Message texts are composed of characters from either Character Set 1 or Character Set 2. Either character set can be the default for configuring message texts.

  • Follow BM's Setting: This option can lead you to follow the BM's setting. For detailed information on Message text setting in BM, refer to File -> Message Text Settings (0BA8 and earlier versions).

• TDE power-on screen (offline)

  In this tab, you can configure a power-on screen for LOGO! TDE in the following two ways:

  • To follow the BM's setting, click the check box next to Use BM's setting.

  • To customize TDE power-on screen, select a character set and then use the keyboard to type characters into the Content area. The power-on screen can only contain simple text strings
