Folders on the USB Stick

The following list describes some of the folder contents of the USB Stick:

• The ..\Manual folder contains the current LOGO! Manual as a PDF file that you can read with Acrobat Reader.

• The ..\Onlinehelp folder contains the current LOGO!Soft Comfort online help as a PDF file that you can read with Acrobat Reader.

• The ..\Tools folder contains two folders and a reset file:

  • The ..\LOGO! Integrity Tool folder contains the .exe file and the current LOGO! Integrity Tool Readme as a PDF file that you can read with Acrobat Reader.

  • The ..\SIMATICSoftwareCIM folder contains the installation application, user manuals and OSS readme files.

  • The ...\__reset.bm file is what you can use to reset your LOGO! BM to Factory setting. Refer to Factory Reset LOGO! for detailed operations.

• The ..\Readme folder contains an HTML readme file that includes information that you need to know prior to installation.

• The ..\Sample folder contains a few sample applications, which give you example solutions for a few of the many fields of applications of the versatile LOGO!.

• The USB Stick also contains the installation versions of LOGO!Soft Comfort for different operating systems:

  • The ..\Kylin folder contains the installation file for Kylin Desktop operating system.

  • The ..\Linux\Application_64 folder contains the installation files for Linux 64-bit operating system.

  • The ..\Windows\Application_64 folder contains the installation files for Windows 64-bit operating system.

  • The ..\Mac_aarch64 folder contains the installation files for Apple Macintosh operating system with an ARM 64 platform.

  • The ..\Mac_x86_64 folder contains the installation files for Apple Macintosh operating system with an Intel X86 platform.

  Note Installation files for macOS To install LSC properly on Macintosh operating systems, you need to use the correct installation file for the corresponding architecture. You can identify the architecture of your macOS by the device chip information. Find the device chip information through: Apple Menu -> About This Mac -> Chip information.

Simply copy the corresponding ..\Application folder to your hard disk drive and start LOGO!Soft Comfort by calling ..\Application\LOGOComfort.
