The command opens a dialog box from which you can select and open a previously created circuit program or project for further editing. Circuit programs created in LOGO!Soft Comfort have the file extensions *.lsc, *.lld, *.bin, and *.lma. Projects created in LOGO!Soft Comfort have the file extension *.lnp, *.mnp, *.snp and *.wnp. LOGO!Soft comfort opens the loaded circuit program in a new window.

Note For a new network project, the saved project type varies: For a new project, if the hardware devices include LOGO! V8.0 or earlier versions devices, the project is saved as (*.lnp) file. For a new project, if the hardware devices include LOGO! V8.2 devices or Modbus devices, the project is saved as (*.mnp) file. For a new project, if the hardware devices include LOGO! V8.3 or LOGO! V8.4 devices, the project is saved as (*.snp) file. A new project is saved as (*.wnp) file in one of the following conditions: if the hardware devices include LOGO! V9.0 or later version devices; if the hardware devices include a LOGO! 9 TDE device; if the project contains User Defined Web Projects.

Note You can open only one project in the Network view at the same time. That means if you open a new project, LOGO!Soft comfort will close the project you are editing now. If you have not saved the current project, you are prompted in a dialog to save it.

Note The circuit diagram is always opened in diagram mode no matter you are in diagram mode or project mode. If you want to implement a circuit program on a device in your network project, right-click the device and select import in the shortcut menu.

An icon for this menu command is also available in the standard toolbar.

Circuit programs of LOGO!Soft Standard

You can also import files created with LOGO!Soft Standard (file name extension = *.lgo). Use the "File type" menu item to select the type of file you want to display. LOGO!Soft Comfort generates a graphical layout of the circuit program.

Note LOGO! 0BA8 and later versions do not support the .lgo type of files.

Alternatives

You can also open a circuit program by one of the following means:

• In Windows you can also drag and drop a LOGO!Soft Comfort circuit program file to the programming interface. When you "release" this file on the diagram tree, LOGO!Soft Comfort opens it in a new window.

• In Windows you can also drag and drop a LOGO!Soft Comfort project file to the programming interface. When you "release" this file on the network project tree, LOGO!Soft Comfort opens and the project you are editing is closed.

• If you double-click a file with the extension *.lsc, *.lld, *.bin or *.lma in the file manager, LOGO!Soft Comfort automatically opens the file.
