You can use this menu command to upload a circuit diagram from the LOGO! Base Module to PC. You can also use the button in the standard toolbar for such purpose.

Upload from LOGO! 9

When uploading from LOGO! 9 to LOGO!Soft Comfort, you can choose to upload the circuit diagram with device configuration.

Transfer configuration

Shows the connected LOGO! BM information: IP address, firmware version, user name and user role.

Configurations before the upload:

Diagram type: select whether to upload the circuit diagram with or without the BM device configuration.

Device setting: if you enable Auto Start Device, the BM will start running the diagram automatically after the successful upload.

Note

IP address upload

If you choose to only upload the diagram and without device configuration from BM to LSC, the IP address information will not be uploaded to LSC. In a network project, LSC will assign an unused IP address to the uploaded diagram. In diagram mode, the IP settings of the uploaded diagram will be blank.

Transfer process

After clicking Start Transfer, the transfer starts. You can see the detailed transferring process messages and the time in the window. LOGO!Soft Comfort will remind you in the window if the upload succeeds or fails.

Cutting connections

If you have set the "Cut connections during import/upload" check box under Tools → Options: Cut connections, LOGO!Soft Comfort cuts the relevant connections during the upload from LOGO! to the PC according to the rules set in this dialog.

Password

When you upload a password-protected circuit program from LOGO! to the PC, LOGO!Soft Comfort prompts you to enter a password. If you do not enter the correct password, LOGO!Soft Comfort aborts the transfer and displays an error message.
