To access the Online settings, LOGO!Soft Comfort requires that you confirm the connection interface for each communication attempt. See "Tools -> Transfer" for complete information.

This command allows you to upgrade the firmware of the connected LOGO! 9 or later versions devices.

Upgrade preparations

Before upgrading the LOGO! firmware, you need to make the following preparations:

• Check the LOGO! device version

  Upgrading firmware through LOGO!Soft Comfort is only supported for LOGO! 9 and later versions devices.

• Check the LOGO!Soft Comfort version

  Firmware Upgrade command is only available for LOGO!Soft Comfort V9.0 or later versions.

• Download the LOGO_device_upgrade_package.duf file from SiePortal or ID Link

Firmware upgrade procedures

1. Click the Open button to upload the LOGO_device_upgrade_package.duf file.

   After the upgrade file is uploaded to LSC, the firmware version in the upgrade file will be displayed. If the firmware version in the upgrade file is not higher than the firmware version of the connected LOGO! BM, LSC will notify you that the upgrade cannot proceed.

2. Click the Start upgrade button. LSC will start the firmware upgrade.

   LSC displays the upgrade process in the Status area. During the upgrade, for LOGO! devices with an LCD screen, it will display the upgrade process on the screen; for LOGO! devices without an LCD screen, the amber LED on the device will flash rapidly.

LOGO! will restart automatically when the firmware upgrade completes.
