LOGO! 9 TDE

In the LOGO! TDE settings dialog, you can configure LOGO! 9 TDE for the following online settings:

• Connect to TDE

  In this tab, you can transfer data between a LOGO! TDE and LOGO!Soft Comfort after configuring the communication interface successfully.

• Show FW version

  In this tab, you can identify the firmware version of LOGO! TDE.

• Assign IP address

  In this tab, you can change the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway of the LOGO! TDE in the New IP settings, and click the Assign IP address button to implement change. You can also assign a device name for the TDE.

• Assign Message text

  In this tab, you can select the message page displaying on LOGO! TDE. There are three options for General settings and you can select the option by clicking the radio button:

  • Message Page 1: select to display message page 1 on the connected TDE.

  • Message Page 2: select to display message page 2 on the connected TDE.

  • Follow BM's Setting: select this option to follow the message page display settings of the BM. To learn the detailed information of BM message display settings, refer to File -> Message text Settings (LOGO! 9 and later versions).

  You can also set the filter time. The filter time determines the frequency at which the LOGO! TDE refreshes the analog values in the message page. The setting value ranges from 100 ms to 1000 ms.

• BM List

  You can add 6 BMs in the list at most. You can also change the BM list through the menu Add BM on the TDE device.

• LCD setting

  In this tab, you can set the LCD display brightness and configure the screen saver for the TDE device. These settings are also available through the menu Setup -> LCD on the TDE device.

  Note LCD lifetime High brightness and continuous displaying lead to a shorter lifetime for the LCD. To protect the LCD, it is recommended that you set a low display brightness and enable the screen saver.

• TDE power-on screen

  In this tab, you can set a power-on screen for LOGO! 9 TDE. LOGO! 9 TDE supports background image or color setting, and text setting for the power-on screen.

• Access control settings

  In this tab, you can enable or disable the UMAC access for TDE. Here you can also change password of the LOGO! TDE Admin, or log out the Admin.

  Note LOGO! TDE has only one user: Admin. LOGO! TDE Admin is not LOGO! BM Admin. When you power-on the LOGO! TDE for the first time or after the device factory reset, you are required to set the TDE Admin password. You can also change the TDE Admin password through the TDE menu command. Refer to LOGO! System Manual for more information.

• Certificate Settings

  Here you can configure the certificate strategy for the TDE communication with LOGO!Soft Comfort. If you choose the PSK certificate or external certificate, you need to use the PSK password to generate the PSK certificate, or import the external certificate.

• Trust CA Settings

  When choosing external certificate for security communication with LOGO! BM (LOGO! 9 and later versions), you need to manage the trust CA and certificate here.

• Factory Reset

  You can also reset the TDE device to factory setting through the menu Setup -> Factory Reset on the TDE device.

• Firmware Upgrade

  In this tab, you can check the current firmware version of the TDE and upgrade the firmware. TDE shares the same firmware upgrade file with LOGO! BM (LOGO! 9 and later versions). To learn detailed information about firmware upgrade, refer to LOGO! settings -> Online settings -> Firmware Upgrade (LOGO! 9 and later versions only).
