In this tab, you can manage the security configuration templates.

Refer to Configuring security settings (LOGO! 9 and later versions only) to learn more about security configuration.

Using a template

To use an existing security configuration template, follow these steps:

1. Click the down arrow to open the template list.

2. Select the template in the drop-down list.

3. Click Apply button. A dialog appears to confirm the operation.

4. Click Yes to implement the action, or click No to cancel using the template.

If you want to use part of the selected template, check the corresponding box of the template items. LOGO!Soft Comfort will implement the selected security configuration items in the template.

Removing a template

To remove an existing template from your PC, follow these steps:

1. Click the down arrow to open the template list.

2. Select the template in the drop-down list.

3. Click Remove button. A dialog appears to confirm the operation.

4. Click Yes to implement the action, or click No to cancel removing the template.

Creating a template

To create a security configuration template, follow these steps:

1. Configure the security related items in the Diagram settings and Device settings.

   Note In LOGO! Offline settings (Diagram settings and Device settings), you need to click OK button in each configuration page to save the settings. Otherwise, the settings won't be saved in your security configuration template.

2. Name your template.

   Note Template name limit The template name cannot exceed 32 characters in length The template name cannot contain these special characters: / \ : * ? " < > |

3. To save the template, click Save button.
