You can connect a network input to a block input. LOGO! 9 supports up to 512 network inputs; LOGO! 0BA8 supports up to 64 network inputs.

Network inputs can read values from the following types:

• VM

  When reading values from VM, the address range is as follows:

  • VB: 0.0 to 850.7

  • VXB: 0.0 to 2047.7

  • VRB: 0.0 to 511.7

• Remote device

  When reading values from a remote device, you must enter its IP address or select from the existing device types.

  • Remote device types for LOGO! 8 (0BA8.Standard)

    LOGO! 8 (0BA8.Standard) device cannot read values from Modbus-compatible device. Except Modbus-compatible device, all the other device types and their block types are available for LOGO! 8 (0BA8.Standard).

  • Remote device types for LOGO! 0BA7

    For LOGO! 0BA7, network inputs can only read values from LOGO! 0BA7 Slave. The block type is the input or output of the slave. Network inputs can read values from I1 to I24 or Q1 to Q16 of a slave Base Module.

• Diagnostics

  When reading values from the diagnostic information, you need to select a diagnostic type first, as shown in the following figures. The diagnostic types correspond to the bits in the VM area. Each of the bits is set to 1 or 0, which respectively indicates that an error of this type exists or not.
