LOGO!Soft Comfort supports the connection of a LOGO! Base Module to a LOGO! slave only through network blocks.

Add LOGO! device and LOGO! Slave devices in the network project.

Follow the same steps as Configuring Ethernet connection, LOGO! to remote devices.

Select the LOGO! Slave device's IP address in the dropdown list of Device/IP address in the Remote device configuration area. The Device type automatically changes to LOGO! Slave.

Note You can only create connections between a LOGO! Base Module and a LOGO! slave device using network function blocks (NI/NQ/NAI/NAQ). Drag-and-drop operations are not available in this case.

Note LOGO! 9 devices support 64 NIs and 60 NQs separately. LOGO! 0BA8 devices support 24 NIs and 20 NQs separately. But no matter NI or NQ, you can have maximum 32 data connections in total.

Downloading network project to LOGO! BM

When you download the network project to LOGO! BM, LOGO!Soft Comfort requires that you confirm the connection interface for each communication attempt. See "Tools -> Transfer" for complete information.

After the connection setup, you can configure the transfer details before you download the network project to the LOGO! BM.

Items to configure before the download: Diagram type: select whether to download the circuit diagram and BM device configuration or only the circuit diagram. Device setting: If you select to enable Auto Start Device, the LOGO! BM will start running the diagram automatically after the successful download. SD card setting: If you select to enable Copy to SD card, the LOGO! BM will copy the download to the SD card. IP address setting: If you select to enable Overwrite IP address, the LOGO! BM's IP address will be overwritten by the configuration after the successful download. Slave download setting: Select the LOGO! slave devices configured to be included in the project.

The device configuration for each selected slave devices is downloaded to each slave device. After the download, the selected slave devices will automatically change to slave mode, instead of you manually changing the mode on the device.

You can also download the slave device configuration to the device separately by clicking Download in the shortcut menu. The slave device automatically change to slave mode after the download.

	0BA0 - 0BA8: For LOGO! 0BA0 - 0BA8 devices, you need to manually change the slave devices to slave mode.

The following table lists the operating state of LOGO! 9 devices in master or slave mode after power off/on:
