When you download the circuit program, LOGO!Soft Comfort also transfers the I/O settings to LOGO!.

For LOGO! 9 and later versions devices, I/O settings is available for configuration in both Offline settings and Online settings.

With the setting ①, you can set the analog resolution. This setting is only available for LOGO! 9.0 and later versions devices.

For integer data type parameters from analog function blocks, the value range varies according to the analog resolution you set.

Note The analog resolution is set to 0 - 1000 by default. To apply the change of analog resolution, you need to check and reconfigure all the block parameters in your diagram and UDF (if any), then download the diagram and device configuration to the device.

Changing the analog resolution also changes the supported decimal place of the analog output value in STOP mode:

• 0 - 1000: supports 2 decimal places

• 0 - 4095: supports 3 decimal places

• 0 - 10000: supports 3 decimal places

Note Analog resolution compatibility LOGO! 0BA8 and earlier versions only support the analog resolution 0 - 1000. If the analog resolution 0 - 4095 or 0 - 10000 is configure for the diagram, you are not allowed to change the HW type from LOGO! 9.0 or later versions to LOGO! 8.4 or earlier versions.

With the setting ②, you can set what the analog outputs of LOGO! should be when LOGO! is in STOP mode and the range of the outputs value. Your choices are as follows.

For "Behavior of analog outputs in STOP mode", select one of the following choices:

• All outputs keep the last value

• AQ1 to AQ 16 are set to values that you define

For "Set analog outputs value range type", select one of the following choices:

• 0 to 10 V

• 4 to 20 mA

• 0 to 20 mA

Note When using the LOGO! AM4 AI/AQ analog modules, if you short-circuit the input terminals, then you need to set the analog output value range type as 0 to 10 V; if you don't short-circuit the input terminals, then you need to set the analog output value range type as 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 20 mA. For detailed information of LOGO! AM4 AI/AQ wiring, refer to the section Wiring LOGO! in LOGO! System Manual.

With the setting ③, you can choose to enable the optional AI3 and AI4 on the LOGO! 0BA6 and later version devices that have an option of four analog inputs. For LOGO! 0BA6 and later version devices that support four analog inputs, you can choose how many to use. Your choices are as follows:

• Enable 0 AIs: No AI available for use in your circuit diagram.

• Enable 2 AIs: Only AI1 and AI2 corresponding to input terminals I7 and I8 are available for use in your circuit program.

• Enable 4 AIs: AI1 and AI2 corresponding to input terminals I7 and I8 are available for use in your circuit program. Additionally, AI3 and AI4 corresponding to input terminals I1 and I2 are available for use.

LOGO! 9 devices support 16 analog inputs and 64 digital inputs.

	0BA0 - 0BA8: analog resolution setting is not available for LOGO! BM prior to LOGO! 9. LOGO! 0BA8 devices support 8 analog inputs and 24 digital inputs. For LOGO! BM prior to LOGO! 9, I/O settings is only available in offline settings.
